I started receiving gifts weeks before my birthday. Boy, I'm speechless. Totally gadget-packed! :)

This one's from my sister-in-law. Oh so happy to finally get a book on photography. Imagine after days and hours of reading at Powerbooks, wala man lang akong nabibili ni isa. :) Thanks Achi! :)


This one's from my ever-dearest hubby. Muah Muah Muah!!! Finally a new phone after 3 (or 4?) years!! This is my first ever non-Nokia phone after what? 9 years? I chose this over other hi-end Nokia models coz I so love the built-in camera of the K800i! It's a good substitute to our 5 year-old point and shoot camera. Takes a while to get used to the keys though. And I love it's capability to support animated themes! Cool! Here's where I download stuff for my mobile phone. Oh by the way, got the Allure Brown edition which is totally ME! My stuff nowadays are all in brown - Shoes, bags, shirts, whatever! *LOL*




And here's what I got for myself - a 17-40mm wide angle L lens!!!! *LOL* Ok, I know we just added a couple of stuff in our bag a month ago. Here's the story. 2 days after we bought the 28-135mm lens, Canon announced a mega sale and they're selling it for thousands of bucks cheaper than the price we got (considering super mura na kuha namin). IMAGINE!?!? So, to even out our loss, I decided to purchase my next target, which is an L lens (which is also on big big sale)! A lot of pro photographers were raving about it's performance - image quality and sharpness are superb. I got to test it when I was purchasing my other lens. Just as my photography guru was telling me, it's a lens for keeps. And it has a good resale value if I decide to upgrade later on (naku, wag na mag-upgrade!) So, ayun - pikit mata nalang. Iiyak nalang ako next month when we get our credit card bill *LOL* Btw, I was hoping hubby will stop me from splurging on another gadget (as he always do). Surprise surprise, he didn't object! Alam niyo naman ako, mahina sa suhol *LOL*

This lil thing here is my newly found best friend. HAR.. HAR.. It made mopping the floor a lot easier and faster. Got a pair of those for only 88 pesos at Japan Home. I felt ecstatic after using it for the first time. Mopping the floor took only 30 mins. No bending whatsoever. Easy to clean. Of course, extra calories burned is also a plus. *LOL*

Another weekend off from the countdown.

Met Clarice last Wednesday for our first meeting. I'm so glad we finally met coz she really helped me sort out a lot of things. Lotsa questions answered. Hehe pero lots of things to do din pala. Dami ko pa kasing kulang buti nalang niremind ako ni clarice.

Saturday

We were scheduled for an interview at St. Peter for the affidavit required by the Chancery for getting hold of my clearance. MIL2B and SIL2B were with us since I need 2 witnesses for the interview. At first I thought the agenda for the day was to get my affidavit only. Later, the parish secretary told us na isasabay na raw ang canonical interview. What? Hindi kami prepared! Everything went well naman. At least I don't have to worry na kung ano ang tatanongin sa canonical interview. Boy, I was really shocked sa type of questions na tinanong. :D

After namin sa St. Peter, we went to San Miguel Church for my confirmation naman. MIL2B was my ninang. I was joking nga na ang tawag ko na sa kanya in the future is "Ninang mother" :D Sobrang bilis lang magpakumpil sa San Miguel Church. The entire process took like 1 hour lang. We just arrived early sa church kaya medyo matagal kami naghintay. But the confirmation mass was only 30 minutes. After the mass, I got my certificate na. Ang bilis!

After naman namin sa San Miguel Church, we went to Guadalupe naman to meet our officiating priest. He wants to interview us muna daw before the wedding. Sort of like canonical din ang dating, pero mas mild ang mga questions ni Fr. It's so nice of him to really make the effort to know us, our background, and our personalities. Although we've known Fr. for a long time na, purely church activities lang ang napag-uusapan namin before. And he really plans for the homily he's going to give. Yun tipong personalized talaga. I'm really looking forward to his homily on our wedding day.

Sunday

Started the day early again. We went to Uratex to search for mattress for our bed. Ang daming klase pala! And they also sell lotsa stuff besides mattresses. Merong pillows and plastic wares. Mega shopping talaga kami ni Dex at ang dami naming nabili. I super love the Senso Memory Foam Bolster and Senso Memory Form Matress Topper! They're so comfy! Excited na ako humiga sa new bed namin. :D And also, I would like to commend their customer service. They serve the buying customers with free coke while waiting for the queue at the payment counter. I mean, wala pa yata akong nakikitang tindahan na gumagawa ng ganyan? hehe ok, I admit, nabili ako sa isang boteng coke! :D

That afternoon naman, we attended a Bingo Charity Activity hosted by our parish pastoral council and another choir group. As expected, we didn't win a single game. haha... it's just for fun actually. The important thing is, we were able to contribute a lil something to our parish for future programs.

After the games, we went to the new house and started cleaning the windows. Ang dumi kasi because of Typhoon Milenyo. hehe.. Yes, ngayon lang namin naisipang linisin. :D Grabe, nakakapagod! Nagpack-up kami almost 11pm na. And we were only able to clean the windows at the living room. More cleaning to do pa. Pero sa ibang araw na kasi super tired na kami.

Pardon this sabog post coz I'm really sleepy already. Feeling ko kasing galing ko na si Wonder Woman dahil ang dami namin nagawa this weekend. Sa susunod na linggo ulit. :D
